12.30.2009 - Hey everyone - while I'm not working on genealogy to any great degree right now, still, don't hesitate to forward anything you might come up with for inclusion in the site. I thought I'd share one of the more personal things I've been up to lately - you can find it here CLICK HERE - I'm probably going to set up a video section next.
Take care til we meet/talk again.
7.15.2009 - We all have Lila to thank for more information and pictures from Iowa this summer.
1.23.2009 - I added a link to some fun games. Also, weather, date, and time widgets to the cemetery map pages (run your mouse over the time to see the date). And, I also put a neat up arrow on the main genealogy page, so whenever you want to, you can just click it and go directly back to the top of the page.
12.1.2008 - Family and Friends of Lester Ronholdt can get an update of his condition by clicking on this link and entering LesterRonholdt with no space in the search box.
11.11.2008 - Between Lila and I we each got quite a few more pictures from cemeteries in MN and Iowa this past summer. These pictures can be seen by clicking on a persons name if it is underlined as a link. If I have other types of information on someone it is indicated by a box around the small icon after each name (the icon was what I decided to use to indicate male or female). I still need to add a few cemeteries to this listing. And I have a picture or two of my grandparents John and Julia to add.
7.18.2008 - Here you'll find some neat information I found recently on surname distributions in the US.
You can look up more names of interest to you at http://www.hamrick.com/names/
I'm going to add birth and death years to all the people in my family tree and add links to whatever pictures I have of headstones and other notices and pictures.
Anyone who shares the Reigstad line will probably be interested in the latest notice posted on this site.
5.15.2008 - I received word that one arm of the Halvorson/Halverson decendants kept the 'vor' spelling down to the present so I adjusted that. I added a few pictures/items from Lila recently too.
3.12.2008 - Rick's record of 5 Iditarod wins still stands! I've been in contact with a contact from the Halverson family line and I'm working to get that section as complete as possible. I was happy to hear from a couple more cousins in ND this week. Little by little people are becoming aware of the site - keep passing the word everyone.
3.3.2008 - Hi everyone, I wanted to share a couple of notices I received recently.
First, on a sad note, Colleen (Knutson) Cameron, who created the Reigstad website, passed away Feb. 14th
from Willmar newspaper
Second, I was just informed that the grandson of Manda (Boe) Swenson, Rick Swenson, has the record of five Iditarod wins. The 2008 Iditarod started Sat. March 1st with Rick taking part - www.iditarod.com
1.14.2008 - It didn't take as long as I thought it might to get my pages validated, so everything is back in place now. I moved the page counter again and started it at 100. (I'll try not to move or restart it again, so it should be a more reliable gauge.) I'm going to prepare a blank tree form for the blank form section. If anyone would like a copy of any type of form loaded to this new section let me know. (I like creating forms.) Still looking forward to hearing from more family members!!!!
1.12.2008 - If you've been to the site previously, you're going to notice some changes - mostly cosmetic. I'm reworking my pages to meet the specifications of the w3c, which sets the standards for web site building. I'm going to sacrifice some doodads now in order to get this step done. I'm done with all of the easy pages, and I have about 5 pages left to do, but these might take up to a week. A page might be offline, temporarily, so don't give up hope if you didn't find what you were looking for, it'll be back soon.
1.9.2008 - I found a couple of listings in The Digital Archives of Norway and added them to the Other Source Data. I also decided to reverse the order of these updates with current entries on top. I heard from a cousin this week and she is looking into further contacts/pictures/data.
1.5.2008 - I made some adjustments to the home page and moved some files around to prepare for more data later. If you haven't come across it yet, you'll be happy to see that we're on the Kandiyohi County surname list.

1.2.2008 - Now that the brunt of my web site is set, I decided to start this log to let everyone know what new information and/or pictures to look for. Also, I will post tips for getting the most out of the site, when I become aware of anything. One thing to note is that the (site updated) date on the front page only updates if I make a change to the front page, which eventually will be rare once the TBD spots are filled. If I make any adjustment to change how this element works I'll post it here. Most additions now will be to the lineage and other source data pages as I find more data/pictures to add for individuals. For now enjoy the site and I hope you signed the guest book. Kim
